A story worth telling. When a cultural enterprise such as Red Records reaches fifty years of uninterrupted activity, many questions inevitably arise in the attempt to offer readers a meaningful perspective. And the readers of our magazine, let’s say it plainly, know this label very well – a label that, still alive and thriving, moves between a sufficiently distant past to be examined through historiographical categories and a future that demands rigorous journalistic methodology. After all, as Francesco Brusco wrote in his excellent book on the Italian music industry: “Record-making creativity is collective by nature.
