Here we are with the second story drawn from the memoirs of one Green Gostard, better known as Krazy Kat. Let me say from the outset that this chapter is, at least on the surface, somewhat peripheral compared to the other six stories. The first appeared in the March issue of Musica Jazz; the remaining five will be published in forthcoming issues of the historic magazine that has appeared continuously on Italian newsstands since 1945, back when the word “post-war” had yet to enter common usage.
