Juan Hitters is the author of some of the most iconic album covers through which generations of listeners have shaped their musical imagination. After working for a time as a psychoanalyst, he chose to make his gift for photography tangible, founding his own studio first in Buenos Aires and later in Bologna, where he still lives. Over more than thirty years of activity, he has created over two hundred covers for contemporary music labels – Deutsche Grammophon, Naxos, BIS – and he is more than appreciated at ECM.
