Dust is your debut album as a bandleader. What artistic impulse gave rise to the project? I started writing this album two years ago, at a time of transition and growing self-awareness, reflecting on myself, my personal choices and my musical journey. Dust grew out of the need to transform deeply felt experiences into something tangible, giving them form through music. At a certain point, I felt the need to develop this journey further, also thanks to my collaboration with Guglielmo Santimone, Francesco Bordignon and Edoardo Battaglia, with whom I have been playing for several years. I wanted to focus not only on what I was experiencing, but also on what this shared journey had left in me, both musically and personally.
