Interview with Gerry Hemingway (Part One)

Gerry, where are you now? “I’m in Hamilton, a predominantly industrial city in southern Ontario. It’s a unique and beautiful city. We came here to play the Something Else! Festival, which is the result of the exceptional work of a very dedicated producer, Cem Zafir.” How long is this tour? Is it just for the festival? “No. We’ve already been in New York for about ten days and played the Vision Festival. I also performed with Reggie Workman, Miya Masaoka, and the Brew group in Philadelphia. Izumi Kimura and I played a concert at a house in northern Massachusetts. Several things had already happened before this. Now the Canadian part begins.
