Enrico Rava won Top Jazz 2025 as Musician of the Year – a prestigious recognition for an artist who has been a towering presence in Italian and international jazz for decades. We spoke with him to gather his impressions and to reflect on a remarkable, unrepeatable career. Enrico, you’ve won another important prize at Top Jazz 2025. Since it’s not the first time for you, what effect does it have to still be at the top at eighty-six? It feels great – it means I’m still on track. There aren’t many others my age.
